Our aim in this class is to learn how to read and interpret any diagram without difficulty.

Si la primera vuelta está formada por 10 puntos, como en nuestro ejemplo, la segunda tendrá 20 puntos, la tercera 30 puntos, la cuarta 40 puntos y así sucesivamente.

If the first row is formed by 10 stitches, as in the example, the second one it will have 20 stitches, the third one 30 stitches, the fourth one 40 stitches and so on.

TUTORIAL PARA UN CÍRCULO DE PUNTOS ALTOS. MÚLTIPLO 10 / DOUBLE CROCHET CIRCLE. MULTIPLE OF 10

Vamos a seguir un ejemplo de un diagrama circular de 10 puntos altos y 5 vueltas.

We are going to follow an example of a 10 double crochet diagram with 5 rows.

PUNTOS DE CROCHET UTILIZADOS

• Anillo mágico
• Punto corredizo (p.c.)
• Punto alto (p.a.)

VUELTA INICIAL: Anillo mágico.

STARTING ROW: Magic ring.

VUELTA 1: Tejer 3 c.a.d. de subida que cuentan como 1 p.a. Hacer 9 p.a. Cerrar con 1 p.c. En total 10 p.a.

ROW 1: 3 ch (counts as first dc). 9 dc. Finish off with 1 sl st. 10 dc in total.
VUELTA 2: Tejer 3 c.a.d. de subida que cuentan como 1 p.a. Hacer 2 p.a. juntos en cada p.a. de la vuelta anterior. Cerrar con 1 p.c. En total 20 p.a.

ROW 2: 3 ch (counts as first stitch) 2 dc together in each stitch of the previous row. Finish off with sl st. 20 dc in total.

VUELTA 3: Tejer 3 c.a.d. de subida que cuentan como 1 p.a. y 1 p.a. en el mismo p.a. de la c.a.d. de subida, 1 p.a., 2 p.a. juntos, 1 p.a. Repetir y cerrar con 1 p.c. En total 30 p.a.

De la misma forma podemos leer un diagrama circular de puntos bajos, de puntos medios o de puntos altos dobles.

In the same way we can read a diagram of single crochet, half double crochet or treble.

CÍRCULO PERFECTO / PERFECT CIRCLE

Si seguimos los diagramas circulares convencionales, nuestro círculo se convertirá en una figura de tantos lados como puntos iniciales tejamos en la vuelta inicial. Para evitar que esto suceda y tejer un círculo perfecto tenemos que hacer un pequeño truco que consiste en que no coincidan los aumentos de las vueltas.

If we follow the conventional diagrams, our circle will turn into a figure with the same number of sides as used in the initial stitches of the starting row. To prevent this from happening and to make a perfect circle we have to make sure the increase does not occur n the same place.  Refer to the PERFECT CIRCLE DIAGRAM below.

OTROS DIAGRAMAS CIRCULARES / OTHER CIRCULAR DIAGRAMS

There are many patterns that you have to make circles. In the next example you can see a coaster that we made in our post Summers days .

Un diagrama de granny square sigue las mismas pautas que cualquier otro diagrama circular. En otra clase explicaremos más detalladamente los grannies square o cuadros de la abuelita. Este granny square se tejió para un poncho multicolor.

If a circle occurs in a granny square diagram follow the same guidelines as instructed above when creating this circle. In another class we will explain in more details the grannies square. This square was made for a multicolored poncho.

Las flores también siguen un diagrama circular. Este diagrama es el adorno de un gorro para niña.
