Nosotras hemos tejido 3 modelos de ligas para que os hagáis o regaléis la que más os guste.

A wedding is a traditional ceremony and details make it unique. One of those details is the garter of the bride. A memory for the rest of your life.

We have made 3 models of garters so that you can keep or give the one that you like the most.

Los pasos que hemos seguido han sido los siguientes:

PASO 1. Tejemos la liga con el diseño de crochet elegido y un contorno de 42 cm.
PASO 2. Rematamos la liga con una terminación superior e inferior iguales.

Steps to make the garters:

STEP 1. Make the garter with the design chosen and an outline of 42 cm.
STEP 2. Top the garter with equal edges.

PASO 3. Cosemos una goma especial para ligas con una medida ligeramente inferior al contorno para que se ajuste perfectamente a la pierna. Con la aguja de coser e hilo blanco vamos cosiendo la goma a la liga con pequeñas puntadas detrás de las terminaciones superior e inferior.

STEP 3.  Sew with a special elastic band for garters with a slightly lower side than the contour so that it fits snugly to the leg. With the sewing needle and white thread sew the elastic band to the garter with small stitches behind the upper and lower ends.

PASO 4. Coser una cinta de 3 cm de longitud en la unión de la goma.

STEP 4: Sew the ribbon at the join of the elastic.

PASO 5. Tejer un adorno y coserlo a la liga con aguja e hilo de color blanco.

STEP 5. Make a garnish and stitch it to the garter with needle and white thread.

Con hilo blanco de algodón.

VUELTA INICIAL: Tejemos 138 c.a.d.
VUELTA 1: Tejemos 2 c.a.d. de subida, 1 p.m. en el siguiente punto de c.a.d., 1 c.a.d., salto 1 c.a.d. y tejemos 2 p.m., 1 c.a.d. Repetir hasta completar toda las c.a.d. de la VUELTA INICIAL. cerramos con 1 p.c. en la c.a.d. de subida.

Con la aguja lanera rematar y cortar con las tijeras el hilo sobrante.

VUELTAS 2 a 4: Tejemos 1 p.c. para situarnos en la c.a.d. de la vuelta anterior y hacemos 2 c.a.d. de subida y 1 p.m., 1 c.a.d., 2 p.m. en la siguiente c.a.d. de la vuelta anterior. Repetir hasta completar la vuelta. Cerramos con 1 p.c. en la c.a.d. de subida.

Las siguientes vueltas son las TERMINACIONES SUPERIOR e INFERIOR de la liga.

VUELTA 5: Tejemos 1 c.a.d. de subida 2 c.a.d. y 1 p.b., 2 p.b. cada uno en 1 punto de la vuelta anterior, 1 p.b. 2 c.a.d. y 1 p.b. en el siguiente punto de la vuelta anterior. Repetimos 2 p.b., 1 p.b. 2 c.a.d. y 1 p.b. hasta completar toda la vuelta. Cerramos con 1 p.c. en la c.a.d. de subida.

Con la aguja lanera rematar y cortar con las tijeras el hilo sobrante.

VUELTA 6: En cualquier punto de la VUELTA INICIAL, tejemos 1 c.a.d. de subida y 1 p.b., 2 p.b. cada uno en 1 punto de la vuelta anterior, 1 p.b. 2 c.a.d. y 1 p.b. en el siguiente punto de la vuelta anterior. Repetimos 2 p.b., 1 p.b. 2 c.a.d. y 1 p.b. hasta completar toda la vuelta. Cerramos con 1 p.c. en la c.a.d. de subida.

With white cotton

FOUNDATION ROW: 138 ch.
ROW 1: 2 ch to start the row, 1 hdc in the next stitch, 1 ch, skip 1 ch and 2 hdc, 1 ch. Repeat until all chains are completed for the foundation row.  Fasten off with sl st.

Finish off and cut the remaining threads.

ROWS 2 to 4:  1 sl st to position in the previous row ch, 2 ch to start the row and 1 hdc, 1 ch, 2 hdc in the next ch of the previous row. Repeat until the row is completed. Fasten off with 1 sl st.

Next rows are the edges of the top and bottom part of the garter.

ROW 5: 1 ch to start the row and 1 sc, 2 sc, each one in one stitch of the previous row, 1 sc. 2 ch and 1 sc in the next stitch of the previous row. Repeat 2 sc, 1 sc,  2 ch and 1 sc until the whole row is completed. Fasten off with 1 sl st.

Finish off and cut the remaining threads.

ROW 6: In any stitch of the FOUNDATION ROW, 1 ch to start the row 2 ch and 1 sc, 2 sc each one in one stitch of the previous row, 1 sc,  2 ch and 1 sc in the next stitch of the previous row.  Repeat 2 sc, 1 sc, 2 ch and 1 sc until the whole row is completed. Fasten off with 1 sl st.

ADORNO DE LA LIGA / ADORNING THE GARTER

Para esta liga hemos elegido dos mariposas tejidas en distinto tamaño con hilo plateado.

For this garter we have chosen two butterflies of different sizes using silver thread.

Con hilo de algodón plateado tejemos 1 mariposa grande y otra pequeña.

With silver thread, make 1 big and 1 small butterflies.

MARIPOSA GRANDE / BIG BUTTERFLY 

VUELTA INICIAL: Anillo mágico.
VUELTA 1: Tejemos dentro del anillo mágico, 5 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a.tr. 2 p.a.d. 3 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la primera ala de la mariposa, seguimos con 3 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a.d. 3 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la segunda ala, 1 p.b., 1 p.c. 3 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a.d. 3 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la tercera ala, 3 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a.d. 2 p.a.tr. 5 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la última ala de la mariposa. Terminamos con 2 p.b.

Con la aguja lanera rematar y cortar con las tijeras el hilo sobrante.

FOUNDATION ROW: Magic ring
ROW 1: Inside the magic ring, 5 ch to start the row, 2 dtr. 2 tr,  3 ch to go down, 1 sl st. To make the butterfly first wing, make 3 ch to start, 2 tb, 3 ch to go down and 1 sl st to make the second wing, 1 sc, 1 sl st, 3 ch, 2 tr, 3 ch and 1 sl st to make the third wing, 3 ch, 2 tr, 2 dtr, 5 ch  and 1 sl st to make the last wing. Finish with 2 sc.

Finish off and cut the remaining threads.

MARIPOSA PEQUEÑA / SMALL BUTTERFLY

VUELTA INICIAL: Anillo mágico.
VUELTA 1: Tejemos dentro del anillo mágico, 4 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a.d. 2 p.a. 2 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la primera ala de la mariposa, seguimos con 2 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a. 2 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la segunda ala, 1 p.b., 1 p.c. 2 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a. 2 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la tercera ala, 2 c.a.d. de subida 2 p.a. 2 p.a.d. 4 c.a.d. de bajada y 1 p.c. para formar la última ala de la mariposa. Terminamos con 2 p.b.

VUELTA 1: Tejemos 1 c.a.d. de subida, punto entretejido (1 p.b., 1 c.a.d.) hasta completar toda la vuelta. Seguir tejiendo en espiral hasta completar 4 vueltas. Cerramos con 1 p.c.
VUELTA 2: Tejemos 1 c.a.d. de subida y 3 c.a.d. para formar 1 onda, saltamos 2 puntos de la vuelta anterior y hacemos 1 p.b. Seguimos con la siguiente onda de 3 c.a.d. 1 p.b. Hasta completar un total de 40 ondas. Cerramos en la c.a.d. de subida de la primera onda con 1 p.c.
VUELTA 3: Tejemos 1 p.c. para situarnos dentro de la primera onda. En cada onda tejemos 2 c.a.d. de subida 1 p.m. 1 p.b. y nos pasamos a la siguiente con 1 p.c.

Con la aguja lanera rematar y cortar con las tijeras el hilo sobrante.

FOUNDATION ROW:  138 ch
ROW 1:  1 ch to start the row, seed stitch (1 sc, 1 ch) until complete the row. Keep working in the round until complete 4 rows. Fasten off with 1 sl st.
ROW 2:  1 ch to start the row and 3 ch to form 1 wave, skip two stitches of the previous row and 1 sc and 1 sc. Next wave 3 ch, 1 sc until complete 40 waves. Fasten off  to the first ch with sl.
ROW 3: 1 sl st to go to the first wave. In each wave make 2 ch to start 1 hdc, sc and go to the next wave with 1 sl st.

Finish off and cut the remaining threads.

En la parte inferior de la liga comenzamos por rematar el hilo de la cadeneta inicial y cortar con las tijeras el hilo sobrante.

En cualquier punto de la VUELTA INICIAL comenzamos a tejer la terminación inferior.

VUELTA 4: Esta vuelta es igual a la VUELTA 2.
VUELTA 5: Esta vuelta es igual a la VUELTA 3.

Finish off and cut the remaining threads.

At any point on the FOUNDATION ROW you can start making the end 

Join yarn using any  stitch

ADORNO DE LA LIGA / ADORNING THE GARTER

Hemos adornado esta liga con una flor de crochet y un pequeño lazo de color rosa.

We finished this garter with a flower and a bow.

Con hilo color rosa.

VUELTA INICIAL: Anillo mágico.
VUELTA 1: Tejemos 4 c.a.d. de subida, 1 p.a., 4 c.a.d. de bajada y cerramos con 1 p.c. para formar el primer pétalo. Repetir 4 veces más.
VUELTA 2: Tejemos 2 p.b. en las c.a.d. de subida del pétalo 1, 1 c.a.d. 1 p.m. 5 p.a. 1 p.m. en el p.a. de la vuelta anterior y 2 p.b. en las c.a.d. de bajada del pétalo 1. Cerramos con 1 p.c. en el p.c. de la vuelta anterior. Repetir 4 veces más.
